US Families will spend $37B in school supplies

According to an annual survey by the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics, families with students in elementary through high school will spend about $37 billion on school supplies this year. The average expense per family is $864, which is about $15 more than last year and around $168 from 2019.
