AD TEMPLATES DESIGN
Arizona Bilingual Newspaper operations are performed on PC, and iOS. Acceptable ad graphics programs are Photoshop, Illustrator and lnDesign. “EPS, JPG, and PDF Files are preferred Microsoft Word. Microsoft Publisher and Corel files are NOT ACCEPTABLE”.
Design, Logos and photos used in the file:
- All color art must be specified as CMYK.
- All your art Failure to do so will print your file as grayscale.
- Vector type graphics (Illustrator and Freehand) should have FONTS OUTLINED or CONVERTED TO PATHS. RESOLUTIONS ARE 300 DPI FOR CMYK GRAPHICS, 300DPI FOR GRAYSCALE GRAPHICS AND 600 DPI GRAPHICS.
- PHOTOS SHOULD BE ADJUSTED 30% DOT GAIN ON NEWSPRINT (SWOP). The separation setup is as follows: UCR; Black Ink Limit: 100%; Total Ink Limit: 235%. Please consult Photoshop documentation for further information on how to manage these settings.
