The New York Times is calling Arizona a hotspot for COVID-19. The state is now recording 108,614 positive coronavirus cases, with 3,520 new cases reported today, July 8.
The total number of cases includes people who have recovered. Of that number, 10,485 cases are in Pima County.
There have now been 1,963 COVID-19 deaths in Arizona, and 302 of those occurred in Pima County. Meanwhile, the City of Tucson maintains an up-to-date COVID-19 website (link below) that includes information for businesses, residents, and even activities for kids. The site is updated as information evolves.
