I want to wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving will feel very different this year because of the pandemic but its meaning will be felt more than ever. Many of you have decided to skip family gatherings and cancel travel plans to help slow the spread and I thank you for that; I know this is not an easy decision.
As we celebrate Thanksgiving, let’s remember the lives lost to COVID-19 and give thanks for our health and the health of our loved ones. A huge thank you to our health care workers and those who continue to provide for us as essential workers. We are forever thankful.
Thank you for your continued trust in me, in my team and the City team. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve you as Tucson Mayor. I leave you with a special holiday message.
Somos Uno, Tucson!
– Mayor Regina Romero
