– Guests can go back in time, some 66 million years ago, and get face-to-teeth with a mighty 16-foot-tall Tyrannosaurus rex, or they can stand up to a 45 foot-long Spinosaurus (the largest of all the carnivores).
The Dinosaur Discovery event boasts 10 roaring, moving, lifelike giants brought back to life in a lush, outdoor setting. Guests are encouraged to learn about modern animals at Reid Park Zoo whose species are threatened with extinction, so they can take steps to keep them around as long as possible.
Dinosaur Discovery runs through May 15 and is included with Zoo admission, and Zoo members get in free.
