Covid-19 Monday update shows no deaths and other promising numbers

As of today, Aug. 31, Arizona now has 201,835 positive coronavirus cases, with 174 new cases reported today (down from 374 yesterday).

The total number of cases includes people who have recovered. Of that number, 21,221 cases are in Pima County (up 32 from yesterday).

There have been 5,029 COVID-19 deaths in Arizona (-1 reported today due to efforts to remove duplicate records from the data), and 576 of those occurred in Pima County (0 reported today).

Meanwhile, the City of Tucson maintains an up-to-date COVID-19 website (link below) that includes information for businesses, residents, and even activities for kids. The site is updated as information evolves.
