In a 4-1 vote in favor, the Pima County Board of Supervisors approved two sets of developments in Tucson meant to create and maintain affordable housing at a time of soaring rent prices. The proposal will allow the County to enter negotiations with the contractors involved in these projects totaling $2.6 million and delivering a total of 203 dwelling units, 107 of them located in the Southside of Tucson near South Park Avenue and Drexel Road.
