New bivalent COVID-19 booster doses that protects against the parent virus as well as Omicron sub-variants are now available at clinics in Pima County and at the Abrams Public Health Center. The shots are also widely available at pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS.
Booster doses are available at all three Health Department clinics, as well as at Abrams. It is recommended to make an appointment at the three clinics. No appointment necessary at Abrams.

CDC also suggests that people who recently had a COVID infection may delay receiving the initial series of vaccines or booster doses for up to 3 months after the start of symptoms or a positive test result.
