NAs of today, Aug. 10, Arizona now has 187,523 positive coronavirus cases, with 600 new cases reported today. If all lab partners submitted their data on time, that number is far lower than what we’ve seen over the past few weeks.
The total number of cases includes people who have recovered. Of that number, 17,996 cases are in Pima County. There have been 4,154 COVID-19 deaths in Arizona, and 489 of those occurred in Pima County.
Meanwhile, the City of Tucson maintains an up-to-date COVID-19 website (link below) that includes information for businesses, residents, and even activities for kids. The site is updated as information evolves.
