Hosting more than 150,000 visitors a year, the Children’s Museum in downtown Tucson has been in operation for close to thirty years now. With many exhibitions, shows, community events, and even festivals, it has become a favorite among children and adults alike. In what they called it the “biggest moment in their history,” the museum administration announced their plans to expand without leaving the city center. Their plan involves purchasing the Udall Foundation building across the streets and moving the administrative offices there while renovating the freed-up space into a gift shop and a café.
