

The community Food Bank of southern Arizona is assisting everyone in the community by relieving hunger. Their mission is to serve by feeding the hungry today, and building a healthy hunger-free tomorrow. They have relocated from their original address of 3003 S. Country Club Rd., Tucson, AZ 85713 to the Kino Stadium where they provide food, with the help from the National guard, twice a week on Tuesday’s & Thursday’s from 7:00 am to 10:00 am for individuals that need the extra help in this moment navigating this pandemic.

The food services are available for everyone, they must bring a valid I.D. to prove they reside in Arizona, and will be distributed once a month per family. The food bank also offers additional programs that can be found on their website communityfoodbank.org some examples are health promotion and gardening, fresh produce, training in leadership, civic engagement and public advocacy along with community development that includes community food systems capacity building.
