The Best Of Two Worlds

Letter from the editor

Believe it or not, 2021 is gone! There is no doubt that it was an extremely difficult year, with many ups and downs and difficult situations for everyone, including the health crisis that we continued to experience worldwide with no exception to the United States. Now, after almost two years, we are seeing and experiencing the different Covid-19 variants, which have spread out at a faster pace, because of people gatherings, holiday celebrations, concerts, etc.

Today, it is hard to know who is vaccinated or not, and we really need to trust people. Therefore, I invite you to continue to use the mask in public places thus be able to prevent contagious situations. Remember that there are still places that offer free vaccines from 5 years of age up. It does not matter if is the first, second or the booster dose, do it today and save lives.

One of the quick and safe places to get your vaccine is the Abrams Public Health Center, located at 3950 S Country Club Road in Tucson 85714, phone 520 724-7770. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 7pm. No appointment necessary and vaccines are available to anyone.

The pandemic is not over yet, and we must continue to take care of ourselves to be a healthy, happy, and vibrant community!

On the other hand, we must do a review of 2021 and hope and plan for 2022 with a good attitude that includes love, healthy lifestyle, being productive and unity with family. I personally think that is the most important thing for any human being. Hopefully this 2022 will provide better opportunities for all of us that will allow us to carry out new projects.

At Arizona Bilingual Newspaper (ABN), we look forward to continuing to share firsthand information. We have positioned ourselves as your preferred bilingual publication and we want to continue to better serve you in this new year. Therefore, I ask you to continue to be part of the ABN community and share with us your interests and concerns. We will continue to provide your news both printed and online and through social media. In addition, we will continue to carry out our signature events throughout the year with our different focus such as education, health, business, children, and seniors, because we love our community!

I wish all our readers and their families a very successful New Year. Thank you for your patronage. Let’s welcome 2022 with faith, peace, and love!
