Tucson Water provides a 50% monthly bill credit to qualifying customers for the Tucson Water charges on their utility services statement.
To receive assistance you must:
Be a Tucson Water customer.
Receive the utility services bill in your name.
Meet the federal household size and income guidelines. For example, $1,286 monthly income for an individual or $3,575 for a household of four.
If you have already qualified for low income assistance from two other City of Tucson departments — Environmental Services or Parks and Recreation — you will be automatically qualified for the Tucson Water Low Income Assistance Program. Call 520-724-6770 to make an appointment to verify your household size and income or to confirm your qualification for low income assistance from other City of Tucson departments.
You will remain qualified for 12 months from the date of approval and will then need to requalify.
Once you are qualified for the Tucson Water Low Income Assistance Program, your assistance should begin on your next billing statement.
If you do not see the discount applied to your next billing statement,
