Happy Thanksgiving! From Tucson Mayor

This Thanksgiving, I’m thankful for our city’s progress. Together, Tucsonans decided enough was enough and voted to invest in our roads – and what a difference that makes to the pride we feel in our city! More Tucsonans have stepped up to help their neighbors, and their neighbors’ children – by volunteering with literacy groups, by reaching out to high school dropouts and encouraging them to give school another chance, by giving seniors a ride, or by hiring a veteran, a refugee, or an ex-offender.

Tucsonans have even planted more than 10,000 trees – trees that will shade future generations.

It is as a community that we make progress, and I give thanks for the community, the people, of Tucson.
