The City of Tucson is partnering with Pima County, at the direction of the Mayor and Council, to offer free COVID-19 testing to any community member who wishes to get tested.
This free testing, administered by the Pima County Health Department and Paradigm Laboratories, began today, Aug. 7, as a pilot day at Udall Recreation Center, 7200 E. Tanque Verde Road. You do not need a doctor’s order to get the nasal swab test.
To register for an appointment, follow the link below and click on the “Schedule My Test” link for Udall, or call 800-369-3584 to schedule an appointment. You must have an appointment, and no walk-in tests will be conducted.
The testing center will be open Tuesdays through Sundays, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Testing will continue at the center until it is no longer needed to control the pandemic.
Udall is now the third testing center available in Pima County and the second to be operated by Paradigm.
The Udall testing center is funded by the federal CARES Act grants to the City of Tucson and Pima County.
