Knowing how to correctly perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (also known as CPR) is a basic yet highly important first aid skill, as it can give a person experiencing a heart attack the necessary time for first responders to arrive.
However, a study published by the American Medical Association revealed that, in the great majority of cases, asking for instructions to a virtual assistant like Alexa, Google Home, Siri, etc., does not give the correct results. Instead, researchers recommend immediately calling 9-1-1 in the event someone faints or is having medical difficulties.
