As of today, Dec. 23, Arizona now has 473,273 positive coronavirus cases, with 6,058 new cases reported today (up from 5,859 yesterday). The total number of cases includes people who have recovered.
Of that number, 62,159 cases are in Pima County (up 815 from yesterday). There have been 8,179 COVID-19 deaths in Arizona (54 reported today), and 946 of those occurred in Pima County (8 reported today).
The City of Tucson and Pima County remind you to always wear a mask in public and avoid socializing with anyone outside of your household during this holiday season.
