Costco Requires Shoopers to Wear Facemasks

April 29th, Tucson, AZ –

In an effort to continue to lessen the effects of this pandemic, Costco added yet another measure of security for its members and guests.

In addition to its entrance limiting of 2 people allowed per membership, and the 6ft apart rule while people stand in line, Costco announced yet another measure; Effective May 4,all Costco members and guests must wear a mask or face covering that covers the mouth and nose at all times while at Costco.

This requirement does not apply to children under the age of 2 or to individuals who are unable to wear a mask or face covering due to a medical condition.

In its official statement, Costco also added the fact that this new measure its not to substitute social distancing, but rather to further protect its shoppers.
