The Best Of Two Worlds

Additional Parks amenities open today

The City of Tucson today, Sept. 28, is removing the caution tape and putting up signage at medium-sized ramadas and outdoor fitness stations. New reservations and beer and wine permits for small and medium ramadas (for groups of 10 or fewer) will be accepted beginning Wednesday, Sept. 30, by calling (520) 791-4873 or visiting the EZEEreg link below.

Also today, the City opened eight extended season swimming pools for high school swim team use only.

The Edith Ball Adaptive Recreation Center (ARC) will open its outdoor pool for lap swim only, with limited capacity, on Monday, Oct. 5. Reservations will be required to best manage the expected high demand for use. For more details, visit the Edith Ball ARC website link below. All other pools and splash pads remain closed. Groups should keep to 10 or fewer, and people should stay 6 feet away from anyone they do not live with, stay home if feeling sick, and follow all other CDC guidelines to keep safe.
