New mandate in public transportation in the United States

The Department of Homeland Security issued an order that began, this past Monday, February 1, where it says that all people who use public transport, (planes, trains, subways, buses, boats, boats, shuttles, taxis), must wear face masks at all times to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the United States. All workers in the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will have the authority and must enforce their authority to enforce this mandate.

This order issued by the CDC (Center for Disease Control), for its acronym in English, which consists of 11 pages and which came into effect this Monday, February 1st, which requires passengers to enter and transit throughout the country, must wear face masks in all transportation centers including: airports, bus terminals, marinas, seaports, or any other port and metro station. Similarly, train stations, ports of entry to the United States, or any other place that provides transportation.

In this document, the CDC exempts children under 2 years of age or people with disabilities who cannot use a face mask, it also specifies that operators must do everything possible to ensure that any person in the transport; “Wear a mask when boarding, disembarking and during the journey.”
