Anyone wishing to hold an event with more than 50 people will need to complete a public health application that will be reviewed by the Pima County Health Department.
Dr. Teresa Cullen, director of the Pima County Health Department, said the application provides the Health Department with vital information for determining if an event can occur or how it may need to be modified if necessary.
“We want to see members of our community having fun and enjoying themselves in a safe, responsible manner,” Cullen said. “When event organizers reach out and work with us at the Health Department, we can ensure the proper protocols are in place for the safety of everyone.”
