The Best Of Two Worlds

EDITOR´S LETTER

Dear Readers,

Spring has come in the blink of an eye and temperatures are still freezing the greater part of the United States with millions of people under snow, without electricity, without being able to work, and without children going to school or continuing their everyday lives. In the neighboring state of Sonora, we’re also experiencing weather that has not ceased with its great surprises this 2023. I believe there had never been temperatures this cold and that, if we still choose to not believe in climate change, here is a sample of what will unfold in the very near future. Experts say that, from now on, we can expect these changes in temperature to be more extreme. Let us hope that March holds slightly warmer temperatures for us all.

I want to share with you that there are lots of very interesting about many topics in this March monthly edition. Remember that we share most of our articles in both languages so everyone can have the opportunity of reading them. Furthermore, we have the treat of presenting three local writers on our cover that narrate a variety of subjects. These three women also share their story, their viewpoints, and why they chose to write their books – or books in the case of Roni Capin and Elizabeth Gonzalez – Ghan, two writers with some titles already under their sleeves. We feel very proud to be able to share and introduce these three writers in the frame of both International Women’s Day and the month.

On another note, I would like to invite you all to join us and partake in the 12th annual event for Children’s Day, which will take place on Saturday, April 29th at the Children’s Museum, located at 200 S. 6th Ave from 10 AM – 2 PM. Arizona Bilingual and its presenters will offer every child and family admission to the Children’s Museum for FREE! Additionally, we will be hosting a great party and celebration with live music, bands, folklorico dancers and singers, Zumba, hip-hop, many surprises for the little ones, food trucks, and more than 40 clients, organizations, police corporations with plenty of free resources for the audience.

Remember that our edition will always be online at www.azbilingual.com. Don’t forget to follow us on our social networks on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Every day, we upload interesting information, resources, and much more. Aside from our giveaways and live broadcasts, Arizona Bilingual News has a WhatsApp account, (520) 273-4312, where we receive information from the community, news, events, and free resources. Add us on your phone and share with us; we’ll be happy to hear from you.

I thank you for your continued support and would like to conclude this letter with the following:

To our women this International Women’s Month: endless thanks for your love, patience, struggles, strength, and for being the foundation of the family. You have our gratitude for being women and for bringing fortitude and endurance before adversity.

Your friend,
