Editor´s Letter

We arrive at the beginning of another year, and there is nothing more to be grateful for so much during the 12 months we have lived. It has been like a roller coaster of emotions, feelings, challenges, ups and downs, but in the end, we are very grateful for 2023 for a lot of work and learning.

At Arizona Bilingual, we are turning 20 years old, and it feels like five minutes. We look back, and we have definitely grown, learned, and made mistakes, but without a doubt, it has been great learning in all areas, personally and professionally speaking. We are incredibly grateful to our readers, collaborators, and clients for so many years of collaboration and support; you have been part of this incredible process and growth. This 2024, we will share memories, past editions, and surprises for everyone. Together, we will continue to grow!

This 2024 is the year of the dragon; according to the predictions of the Chinese horoscope, it says that it is a mythological being that symbolizes the supreme spiritual power and which, at the same time, embodies every person whose strength is its greatest virtue.

Also, 2024 is an election year in the United States and Mexico; we sincerely hope that all of us vote for the right people so that we can lead these two great countries in the correct, intelligent way that can adapt to the times we are living.

In January, we want to invite you to be part of our first Women’s Health and Wellness Fair event, presented by SAABE AZ and Arizona Bilingual Newspaper, which will take place on Saturday, January 27th, from 10 am-1 pm at El Pueblo Activity Center building #9m located at 101 W. Irvington Rd. Tucson, AZ. 85714. We will provide free mammograms for women who do not have health insurance* (appointment required at (520) 274-7255). In addition, there will be activities, resources, and free bilingual information for attendees. There will also be live music, dances, and raffles; we are waiting for you; the event is FREE for everyone!
