Department (EGSD) is educating residents on how to properly dispose of coffee cups

Clear plastic cups are recyclable in the blue barrel, but they must be empty and rinsed out. The lids and straws are not recyclable. Sadly, paper coffee cups are not recyclable and must be tossed in the trash along with the lid. However, the cardboard sleeve can be recycled.
