The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation department is hosting a drive-thru Rollin’ Haunt event this Saturday, Oct. 24, from 4-7 p.m., at the Tucson Rodeo Grounds, 4823 S. 6th Ave. (enter at 3rd Avenue and Irvington Road). To avoid traffic congestion, do not line up early.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Parks and Recreation has had to cancel many of its popular fall events, including the Boo Bash. Rollin’ Haunt will be filled with lots of Halloween treats, fun costumes and characters, and photo opportunities.
Families are encouraged to decorate their cars to add to the Halloween spirit. All children present in the vehicles will receive a candy bag with contactless pick-up as they exit the event.
All participants must remain in their vehicles at all times and be alert for the safety of all staff and other participants.
