The Best Of Two Worlds

Editor letter

December, the last month of the year, twelve months went like a breath. We have all experienced joy, sadness, changes, adjustments, and much controversy. In health, diseases and viruses do not stop, and there is nothing to do but follow the instructions of health experts. We always have to be alert and continue to take care of ourselves. Let’s not forget children and the elderly; they always need the support and experience of the strongest. In the economy, the truth is that there is not much good news. Prices are through the roof for gasoline, transportation, basic food, and real estate, and this does not stop. We must pause along the way and see what we need for our daily life and not buy unnecessary or superfluous items; We don’t know what 2023 will bring us.

On the other hand, we want to thank all the presenters, sponsors, organizations, and entertainment that joined us in the Thanksgiving Festival and the Giving Community on November 19 and 22, respectively. We give out more than 1,300 gift cards worth $20 each. Many people and families benefited from the opportunity to attend. Special thanks to Arizona Bilingual Newspaper and SAABE AZ for their hard work, organization, and leadership and for putting together these remarkable events. You can find everything that happened in the events in this December edition. THANK YOU!

In this December issue, we invite you to read and visit many of our clients who have joined and supported us throughout the year. Remember that it is essential to support the local economy. Local businesses are what make a difference in our communities.

Finally, I invite you to reflect on this 2022 that is leaving and, what we have done as individuals and human beings, how we help others, our families, and colleagues. Volunteering is not easy, but I invite you to be part of your decisions for 2023. Many organizations need your help and, above all, people who help and are bilingual.

Let’s continue contributing to our community, it takes time, effort, and sacrifice, but the result is very satisfactory. Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering, helping causes, and non-profit organizations, and I will gladly guide you to the right place.

I send a big and affectionate hug to all of you for always supporting us, reading, and following us on our social and digital media platforms. May this Christmas be full of peace, harmony, and sincerity with your loved ones.  I wish you a new year 2023 full of new projects, health, and blessings for all of you and your families.
