The Best Of Two Worlds

Dear Audience

I would like to start this month’s letter with this phrase: “let out your fears, to make room for you dreams to enter”

It is true that at the moment things are upside down, and we all find ourselves feeling anxious, frightened, and with an overwhelming feeling of uncertainty. Our plans and daily routines have now changed, and our lives seem to have been turned 180 degrees. But not all is lost, it is now time to reinvent ourselves, to create new things and start behaving in a different manner. Why do I say this? Because there was a lot gong on before, people shopping, traveling, partying, filling our calendars and saturating our time. I am not criticizing, nor do I think that was bad, but I am simply making an observation, on how we may have forgotten what it was to be humane, to lend a hand, to be with family, because our previous plethora of activities prevented us from having any free time. Now that we have all this free time at home, or for many of us that have a new opportunity to work from home, we can now be with family, with our children, and that reminds us of what we were missing out on, f how we forgot, perhaps, the most basic things, and maybe now it’s time to take a step back, humble ourselves, and re-learn how to help and support others.

That is why in this month’s issue, we are including lots of important information from many of our collaborators, institutions, organizations, and clients who are interested in sharing information that can result useful in our current situation. I hope you take advantage of this and share it with your family, and other groups.

On another note, this month is usually one of the busiest months of the year when it comes to events and activities. Now with this whole situation going on with COVID-19, everything is now either cancelled or postponed. Many companies like ours are doing everything to stay afloat and continue to support our employees, let me tell you its not easy, but there are still many options for small businesses. We found many resources and information that can be useful during these tough times so you can ask for help for your business and help mitigate your losses. Regarding the stimulus package information approved by the federal government, we also have a guide available to take the necessary steps to getting help.

I want to conclude this letter by giving you a message of hope, union, solidarity, and humility.

Remember that this whole situation will pass if we take the necessary measures to stay healthy, calm, and keep following recommendations like washing your hands thoroughly every 20 minutes, or not going to work if you are feeling ill, cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces, and maintaining your distance from everyone.

Remember this is not the end, it is simply the beginning of a new era in our lives!

I send you a virtual hug
