More than 4,800 new coronavirus cases were reported today, July 1, which is the highest one-day number reported so far. With the new cases, the statewide total now stands at 84,092, according to the Arizona Department of Health Services.
The total includes people who have recovered from COVID-19. There have now been 1,720 COVID-19 deaths in Arizona. Meanwhile, the City of Tucson maintains an up-to-date COVID-19 website (link below) that includes information for businesses, residents, and even activities for kids.
