The governor of Sonora, Alfonso Durazo Montaño, along with Secretary of Tourism Miguel Ángel Torruco, announced that Magdalena de Kino’s title of Magic Town would be updated, increasing the quantity of available resources for the promotion of tourism in the locality.
Among the resources that the municipality will receive includes the refurbishment of 140 facades, 20 artistic murals, and eleven thousand meters of paint with respect to the preferences of the town’s residents.
