Households will receive invitations to respond to the 2020 Census between March 12-20. Once the invitation is received, people can respond online, by phone, or by mail to state where they live as of April 1, 2020. When people respond to the census, their answers are kept anonymous and are used only to produce statistics. The census takes place once every 10 years. Responses help determine the number of seats each state has in Congress and guide how nearly $700 billion in federal funding is spent in communities each year. It’s estimated up to $3,000 per person, per year is at stake for Arizona. Visit the link below for more information, important dates, census job opportunities, and an informative video.
