Veterans day is a federal holiday in the United States, observed on November 11, also called Armistice Day. American workers and students have Veterans Day off from work and school for honoring military veterans of the United States Armed Forces. Veterans Day commemorates the service of all U.S. veterans, who were discharger under conditions other than dishonorable.
