Tucson-Mexico Sister Cities Association delivered an ambulance to the Dialysis clinic in Puerto Peñasco, Sonora. The ambulance was generously donated by Rural Metro-Southwest Ambulance. On June 19, 2015, a group of 17 Tucson-Mexico Sister Cities members made the trip to Puerto Peñasco to celebrate the delivery of the much needed ambulance to city officials.
In addition, eight cases of medical supplies were delivered to the fire department (“Bomberos”) of Puerto Peñasco which was well received. Additionally, the newly elected mayor of Puerto Peñasco; Kiko Munro was present for the celebration and promised dialogue with Tucson Mexico Sister Cities upon his taking office on September 16.
