El Rio Health is pleased to announce we have recently received COVID-19 test kits so we may screen our El Rio patients who have symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to a known COVID-19 positive patient. For further information or to schedule a screening*, please call 520-670-3909.
El Rio Health will also participate in the state-wide “Arizona Testing Blitz” campaign beginning this Saturday, May 2nd, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at selected El Rio Health sites. This is only open to El Rio patients who fit the screening criteria. Drive-thru screenings will be available. Again, please call 520-670-3909 for further information and to schedule a screening.
*In order to be tested, the patient will need to sign an agreement stating they agree to self-quarantine for immediately after the test is administered until results are received. If a person tests positive for COVID-19, then they agree to self-quarantine for 7 days or exactly 72 hours after they are symptom free. Whichever is longer. If testing is negative but symptoms are still present, the patient should still self-quarantine until symptom free for 72 hours.
