The 6th Annual Tucson Sculpture Festival hosted by The Drawing Studio will showcase more than 75 sculptors at The Art Gallery located at 1122 N. Stone Avenue. The festival will run through Saturday, February 14th.
The 2015 show will not only host new work by local sculptors, but pieces by artists from Texas, New York, Germany and China will also be represented. This year the festival will include the participation of local galleries hosting as satellite hubs with more fantastic work: The Moen Mason Gallery, The Granada Gallery and The Sculpture Resource Center.
TSF’s Opening Reception will be at The Art Gallery (northeast corner of Stone and Speedway) on January 31st from 6-9 followed by two weeks of open doors to the Gallery to see the fine work. The festival in 2014 brought in over 800 sculpture enthusiasts opening night alone and we anticipate more in 2015.
Event Director, Tanya Rich says, “The festival brings in the Tucsonan New Year. I’m still being told it was by far the best and the most attended art opening Tucsonan’s saw in 2014. I anticipate the festival will get the same response in 2015.”
