A lawsuit against the federal government over the construction of the border wall will result in openings being added in sections of the border located in Arizona to allow the passage of endemic animals to the Sonoran Desert. Among the various species that will benefit from the reopening of the wall is the Sonoran pronghorn, an endangered animal with around 200 living specimens, along with others such as black bears and jaguars.
