Millennial traditions

Millennial traditions that proceed our ancestors continue to be honored today. Mexico’s proud heritage in honoring the dead traditions have crossed borders and we in Tucson, are not the exception.  Aproximándose el día en que veneramos a nuestros antepasados difuntos, varios Artistas locales están honrando esta tradición por medio de sus representaciones artísticas y eclécticas.

Local craftsmanship and art displays the mystique of the dead. Artistas such as Tracy Brown, Victor Navarro, Chris Andrews, Steven Bye, Jennifer North, Dan Chavez and Dana Menser, exponen sus obras de arte, imaginándose como puede ser la muerte, su imagen y sus quimeras. Uniéndose artistas de herencia Hispana y Anglo, logramos dar un paso más, a nuestra labor de unificar las culturas, respetar las tradiciones y honrar uno de los muchos puntos que juntas, unite our cultures and allow us to communitate with a stronger voice; a Bilingual message via the Arts! Exhibit is located at the  Borderlands Brewing Co. 119 E. Toole Ave. Tucson AZ 85701.
