Dear readers, I send you a cordial greeting. Autumn arrives in our region and the heat moves, the trees begin to change their colors and it becomes a multicolored carpet that welcomes this magical season of autumn, Welcome!
This past September, we had many events in the community, within the framework of the month of the independence of Mexico and in the Month, where we celebrated the Hispanic heritage. Which is commemorated from September 15 to October 15. Let us be proud of our roots, culture, and traditions. of September. This month of October is even busier and full of outdoor events; sold-out concerts and events that have been well-known and attended. Some of my favorites are The Mexican Baseball Festival, with an unprecedented display of teams, of course, the spoiled ones: which is Hermosillo and Obregon, Naranjeros and Yaquis, our wild cats from the University of Arizona, as well as the teams from Navojoa and Mexicali; culminating on Sunday, October 9 with the presentation of His Majesty La Brissa! And the same weekend we will have Tucson Meet Yourself, which celebrates 49 years of existence in Tucson, a spectacular and completely family-friendly festival! On Fridays October 7, 8, and 9 in downtown Tucson, in Jacome Square. A unique festival where culture, arts, music, and food from various countries around the world come together over these three days, visit https://tucsonmeetyourself.org/
