This past August 22nd, Raúl Grijalva and Juan Ciscomani, the two congressmen representing District 7 and 6 respectively, thank you to the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, they met at Pima Community College’s Aviation Technology Center to discuss several of the issues affecting the state and country in an open conversation moderated by Karla Bernal Morales,
Among the topics mentioned was immigration reform, including for the millions of Dreamers living in the United States – something on which Grijalva and Ciscomani agreed. Another highlight of the conversation was the topic of a potential government shutdown that could be taking place soon if Congress does not pass its budget bills in time.
