Independence Day (or The Fourth of July in English) is the national holiday celebrated on July 4 in the United States of America. This day marks the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 in which the country proclaimed its formal separation from the British Empire. It is usually celebrated with many outdoor activities such as parades, baseball games and fireworks shows. It is the traditional date of several races and events. In addition, Americans celebrate this day with barbecues, steaks, wings, vacations, concerts, family reunions, camping at lakes, beaches and national parks.
Cheers to the 4th of July and thankful to celebrate the independence of this great country.
