002 a003If there existed a language-to-music translation dictionary, the entry for “Festive, Merry Holiday Celebration” would translate to “Merry-Achi Christmas featuring Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez.”

On Thursday, December 18th, the Fox Tucson Theatre and CHISPA Foundation, welcome world renowned ensemble, Mariachi Sol de Mexico led by internationally recognized musician, composer and educator, Jose Hernandez. Hernandez considers the group to be passionate ambassadors of his beloved mariachi music and proudly proclaims his mantra, “to believe in mariachi means having a passion for life.” The group has performed to sold-out audiences throughout the world including Spain, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Venezuela, Mexico, China and North Korea.
