Dear Readers,

A great pleasure and pride to be able to celebrate our tenth anniversary celebration of The Arizona
Bilingual Newspaper.
We would love to have had the opportunity to celebrate with all people we have met over the past
10 years/ It was a beautiful celebration, full of colorful, personalities, clients, collaborators, family
and friends, who were accompanying and congratulating us; but mostly wishing us the best in the
years to come! My answer, it would, but if we continuing having everybody’s support and help; we
can continue uniting and informing our communities together.
Very grateful to the following personalities: Mayor of Tucson, Jonathan Rothschild, Mexican
Cónsul Ricardo Pineda, Lea Marquez – Petterson, President of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of
Commerce, Richard Elias, Pima County Board of Supervisors, disctrict 5, Richard Fimbres, Ward
5, Steve Kozachic Ward 6, Felipe Garcia, Vice-President of Vamos a Tucson and Raul Aguirre of
REA Media Group; our appreciation for all your work, your beautiful words, but for all the great
support we have received from all of you in the last years.
Remember, this coming November the 4th, we need to get out and vote! As you may know some
laws and proposed laws go away because we do not pursue the voting. Inform yourself, go to the
appropriate offi ces, and ask what you have to do. In this edition, you will fi nd reliable information of
places, numbers and websites you can trust in.
We come from different countries, but integrated by our cultures and traditions. We want a better
life for our families. So, if you are a US Citizen, please VOTE! And if you’re not a US Citizen, it’s
never too late, there’s always a tomorrow to make a difference!
