Manuel Ruiz-Romero and Enrique Parra-Copetillo legendaries ranchers in Turicachi and La Valdeza Sonora, Mexico, welcomed that trade mission to Mexico and during the opening talks, Armando Sotelo-Ruiz highlighted the importance of creating investment opportunities and linkages between Sonora and Arizona livestock-exporters sector.

Cattle industry is a major economic activity in Fronteras Sonora, particularly between 2010 and 2014, when 900,000 cattle were herded from el Vigia to KM 47 in Fronteras Sonora from shipments to stockyards in Agua Prieta-Douglas Arizona.

Activities in the live stock field are very valuable particularly the cowboy became the worldwide iconic image of the Arizona-Sonora cowboy movies.
