If you’re looking for something awesome and not just the same old taco, then you should head on over to Ole Rico Mexican Steakhouse. Located south of 22nd street on S. Park Ave, at the old Mr. Ks’ BBQ restaurant location. Specializing in Agua Prieta’s style carne asada,
Owner Adrian Romero’s grilling skills are the real thing. With a menu serving appetizers like cheese crisps with grilled steak and real Oaxacan cheese, and the most popular item on the menu, the classic burritos served with key limes and the very special Ole Rico salsa you can’t go wrong! But other than the appetizers, Ole Rico also serves full steak platters, amazing mesquite grilled beef ribs, and the newest item not yet on the menu, Agua Prieta style fried chicken (a must try), served with all natural skin-on french fries. Being a fan of anything grilled, this place was a real treat for me! My favorite items were the amazing mesquite charred ribs and the classic burritos with the Ole salsa. Menu items ranging from $1.00 dollar tacos on Tuesdays to the most expensive steak platter for only $12.00 dollars, it’s definitely worth the visit!
Authentic mesquite grilled food has been a tradition for the Romero family and now they have the opportunity to share it with the rest of us. When you get a chance, come visit the Romero family and taste for yourself the Agua Prieta tradition!!!
