Octubre fue un mes lleno de eventos, iniciando con la Fiesta Mexicana de Béisbol, luego disfrutamos de la variedad enorme de culturas durante el 40 aniversario de Tucson Meet Yourself, Noche de Gala y Exitos de la Cámara de Comercio Hispano, También el pasado mes de Octubre fue el mes de La Herencia Hispana y el mes de la concientización en contra de La Violencia Doméstica y el Cáncer de Mama entre muchas otras actividades también muy importantes para nuestra comunidad.

Llegó Noviembre!! Y junto a él, el inicio de las tan esperadas Fiestas Decembrinas que aparte de ofrecernos mucha variedad de comida festiva, también las celebramos la llegada de fin de año como lo es el Día de Acción de Gracias. Hablando de ese tema, les invito a reflexionar sobre el verdadero motivo de esta celebración, si bien es cierto que es muy importante reunirnos en familia, brindar y agradecer por nuestros alimentos, es mucho más importante agradecer a Dios por las bendiciones recibidas dentro del seno de nuestra familia así como nuestra salud, trabajo y amor.

Y hablando de alimentos! le hacemos la atenta invitación a todos ustedes para que nos acompañen en nuestro próximo evento “Festival de dar Gracias” el 21 de Noviembre en las instalaciones de Tucson Clínica Médica Familiar a partir de las 10 am. Estaremos regalando cientos de pavos a las familias más necesitadas.

Acompáñenos con su familia y pase una mañana agradable llena de regalos, sorpresas, entretenimiento para los niños y sobre todo llena de PAVOS GRATIS!

Editor’s Letter
October was a month full of special events! Starting with the Mexican Baseball Fiesta, we also enjoyed the huge variety of cultures during the 40th anniversary of Tucson Meet Yourself, continuing with Noche de Gala y Exitos of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; October, was The Hispanic Heritage Month, and awareness against domestic violence and breast cancer among many more important activities in our community.

November is here!! and with it, the long awaited holiday season celebrations bringing enormous varieties of food, and the end of the year celebrations starting with Thanksgiving Day!! A special night where our families gather together and think about the real reason to celebrate this day. It is important to gather as a family and thank God for the food on our table, but more important is to be grateful for all the blessings our family and friends received through the entire year such as our health, our jobs and of course all the love around us.

Speaking of food and blessings! We like to invite you all to our next community event “Thanksgiving Festival” to be held at Tucson Clínica Médica Familiar starting at 10 am. We will be giving away hundreds of turkeys to all low-income families in Tucson.

Join us with your family and spend a lovely morning full of surprises, prizes and entertainment for all the children and the entire family.
