The Best Of Two Worlds

Dear Readers

almaThese hot and summer months may be a good idea to slow down a little bit and spend more time with the family! All this sounds great right? But the reality is that unfortunately for many of us we have to continue working even though our children are enjoying their summer break. However, even with the daily hustle, we should consider to give ourselves the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings of our beautiful state.
The last few days have been very controversial due to the racist and ignorant statements of Donald Trump against Mexicans, at this point his words have created an unstoppable controversy in all social networks. His grotesque way to describe the Mexican community in this country has closed many important business relationships for him and led to the rejection of an entire community.

At the end of the day what the majority of our Hispanic community really looks for is keep our families united, get better educated, and continue our hard work that will lead us to the American Dream and success in this country. To all those of you wanting to become U.S. citizens, we encourage you to make the decision as soon as possible.

Let’s remember that by become a US Citizen enables the privilege to get involved in very important decisions in this country such as NEVER vote for candidates like Mr. Trump, whom denigrates our Mexican community whenever he feels like. Let’s keep proving him wrong!

On another topic, we invite everyone to join us for our 2nd. Annual Kid’z Expo and Back to School Festival, which will take place on August 1st at El Pueblo Activity Center in the basketball court from 10 AM-2PM. As usually, it is always a pleasure to share with you this special space.
Until next time my dear readers!
